Very interesting thread, gentlemen! Good to know what appeals to you.
Its so hard to pinpoint one. I guess I could approach it from the point of view of which one I designed in which I had that special feeling of inspiration and personal enjoyment in playing after doing it...Maybe the top five for me in designing them:
Brave Men at Betio - First time I had an SP game in which I had so many new tools, infantry wading to shore, all sorts of Japanese fortifications, etc.
Lightning Strikes - My first (and only) effort at recreating the fighting between Norway and Germany. It was incorporating the ammo packs that the Paratroopers had to get that appealed to me here.
Moment of Truth - Kursk has always been fascinating. This tank heavy advance by the Liebstandarte against the toughest Soviet resistance has a feel to it.
Desperate Measures - Jumping off the destroyer Campbelltown and racing to the objectives to beat the Germans, then get them exited. Whew! Still love to play that one.
I'm gonna save the #5 slot...though tempted to say the Ramelle SPR one...just for the memory flashes it brings to mind if nothing else...but no, not yet. I'm gonna think on it.
