onlysane1 -> "Next unselected unit" button (12/3/2021 2:19:56 AM)

I'm sure we've all had a time when we hit the End Turn button and later realize that we forgot that group of infantry we wanted to move.

A button that cycles through any units that haven't been selected this turn would let players quickly and efficiently ensure that they at least have looked at all of their units they might want to do something with.

The process would be pretty simple; at the start of the turn, every friendly unit would be place as an item on a list. Clicking the button selects the "top" item on that list and centers the map on that unit, while also removing said unit from that list; selecting a unit manually will also remove it from the list.

There could also be a drop-down option to refresh the list in case the player wanted to go over everything again.

Alternately, it could be an actual menu that opens up from the Information tab that lists all units that haven't been selected/moved this turn.

I was also looking for such a button and as a temporary fix you can use Commanders Report and there in a filters you can display units MP (movement points). So when you will see an infantry with 16-14 MP it means that probably it was not moved. Not the best solution, but better then clicking on all of the units again in the end of the turn.

I seem to recall there were buttons to cycle to the next unit defined somewhere along the way. I never used them but I would bet they are still there. But I don't know what they were.

Period (.) and comma (,).
