YetiWSO -> Units visible to other side at start of scenario (12/6/2021 1:27:55 AM)

I have created a few scenarios but am definitely not an expert. In the latest one, I have three sides. Two that are in open hostility and one that is friendly to one of the belligerents and providing them intel and contact reports.

When I go to play the scenario, the two belligerents can can see all the opposing forces from the start of the scenario, even though none of those forces are auto-detectable.

I checked the auto detect and it is off for those units.

Am I missing a setting, or could that one scenario be corrupted? I have not encountered this before and do not think I did anything different in this one. I greatly appreciate any ideas or input.

Check the 'Add / Edit Sides' setting. See if any of your sides have 'Omniscient' selected (see image):

Side postures control datalink sides together if they are friendly so the info will flow regardless of the B and C sides disposition to each other if there is a friendly to friendly interaction with A to B and A to C. There is no check beyond the first relationship.

Red - neutral (or friendly) to Green, hostile to Blue
Blue - neutral to Green, hostile to Red.
Green - neutral to Blue, friendly to Red.

Green will share all info it has with Red. (this will be one-way or two-way depending on how red views green)

After you make changes, including adjustments to auto-detectable you'll want to remove\wipe all contacts from each side view, and let them regenerate naturally according to the new settings.

Somewhere along the way something is out of order in your scene from the sounds of it, either relation wise or awareness wise, or there may be stale\prior contacts.
