Steam provides the functionality that you run a game on one PC and view/control it on another PC. This is vey useful to run a game on a high-spec desktop and view/control it on a less powerful machine, such as a laptop lacking a graphics card.

But your games don't work with this functionality. The first thing you notice is the the hex pop-ups when you hover the mouse are missing. This really makes the game unplayable over Streaming, in my opinion, you can't play without this information. But other pop-ups that require you to choose an option, they also don't appear in the Streaming. Since the game is then stuck until the player chooses an option, you are forced to quit out of the Streaming, or go to the desktop and choose the option there.

This is the case whether you run the game in fullscreen or windowed.

I don't know how other software works to ensure that equivalent pop-up UI elements on the screen appear during Streaming, but most games do work with Streaming. Steam might be able to advise?

I think this is a "bug" in the terms that standard functionality of Steam doesn't work with GITE2 (and I think was also the case with WITW, though I never reported it).

FYI the workaround I used before the game went out on Steam anyway is to download and install LiteManager with the server on the desktop and viewer on the laptop. This works well.

I'll report this to the programmer. Although he's done a lot to update the engine over the years, it's fundamentally a really old engine, so it doesn't surprise me that it's missing some newer functionality with Steam.
