My apologies, "Effective" Ceiling is in the device data. (no UI scaling, so this image is really tiny on my screen)

1. For whatever reason it is not displayed in game via Commander's Report still completely baffles me.
(I would prefer seeing effective ceiling over max ceiling if I could only pick one)

2. Additionally, it is not described in the WiTW Editor manual. (picture coming next...)

Sorry to perpetuate any confusion.

Nothing about "effective" ceiling - or even "max" ceiling for that matter.

Just a somewhat non-descriptive "Ceiling".

quote:

Ceiling: Enter the number of feet for how high the weapon
can fire (i.e. to what altitude can the weapon fire?).

For some weapon systems, they are significantly different.

For example, the 88mm Flak 36

quote:

Effective firing range:

- 8,000 m (26,000 ft) effective ceiling

Maximum firing range:

- 9,900 m (32,480 ft) maximum ceiling

And this is from the WiTE2 Manual

equally non-descriptive and vague in regards to "Ceiling".

Not even sure which of the ceiling values (max or effective?) is actually being displayed via "Ground Elements Compare". anybody???

(other than annoying Loki, there are reasons I poke fun at the manual. annoying Loki is just the icing on the cake [:)])

Just stop - first warning. I've locked the thread to emphasise I don't find your behaviour amusing.
