(1) MWiF 4.4.1 (Debug)
(2) Top screen cap. Preliminary production phase prior to conquest. Please take note of the CCP Garr in Ankang, which is the only Chinese unit (CCP or Nationalist) left on the map, and 3 adjacent hexes to the west still controlled by China.
(3) Bottom screen cap. Post conquest and complete surrender of China to Japan. Ankang and the 3 adjacent hexes to the west are controlled by the Soviets. All other hexes in China are now controlled by Japan.
(4) Is this correct?

MWiF 4.4.1 (Debug) game file at reform armies and corps, which is the last autosave just prior to conquest. More precisely, it's the last autosave before conquest that you can look around at things before automatically advancing through conquests.

Bug. Those hexes should become Japanese.
