Playing a Officers card for defend bonus gives the unit a +10% defending bonus. It is indicated by a blue "10" within the picture of the elements.
Playing a Officers card for attacking bonus results in a +25% attacking bonus. You can see it by a red "25" within the picture of the elements.
Now when fighting battlerounds and looking into the details after the fight, this modifiers should be count into "Attack Score" for the +25% attacking bonus and into "Defender Score" for the +10% defence bonus.
The +25% attacking bonus modifier counts into the battle and is listed with "Special +25%" at the Attack Score Mods
but
The +10% defending bonus mod is not listed when an own element is attacked by the opponent at the Defender Score Mods.
It seems, that the defence bonus, given by an officer card does not count into Defender Score. I tested it by doing different battles with different settings, but this defence modificator never appears at the Defender Score Mods.
