SchDerGrosse -> Why cant two airfleets provide ground support to the same HQ..? (aka bug or WAD) (1/9/2022 4:13:51 PM)

As the title says.

Iam trying to set a ground support air directive re: Army Group Antonescu both for Luftlotte 4 and and to the Rumanian Air Command, and it turns out that NOPE, I can have either LF4 or the Rumanians involved in the thing but not both.

Why is that, and is there a way to circumwent it? I would really like to utilize the Hungarian and Rumanian airfleets but as LF4 has planes giving support to both AG Süd as well as AG Antonescu, I cant really do much with them.

Thanks for your insight,

by design, better question is why not have the Rumanian and Hungarian air groups reporting to LF4? Better leadership and problem solved

Wouldnt this overload LF4 though?

It would mean going abobe 450 command points available.

Thanks,

shouldn't, I tend to fold the Rumanian assets mostly in L4 and keep a small bit outside (but thats for my own reasons). In 1941 I tend to only bring the Hungarian recon assets forward as the rest is of little value.

but I guess it depends on your wider configuration of the Luftwaffe. You could free up space in L4 by allocating the recon AOGs to OKL (if this is doable, or to some other Luftflotte)?
