T10 Supply Details:

Berlin shipped out 93K, Prague shipped out 37K, and Vienna shipped out 76K for a total of 206K from the NSS.

Warsaw received 9.4K and stored 36.5K. Lvov received 6K and stored 30K. Minsk (AGC HQ) received 3.5K and stored 6.4K. Smolensk received 2.4K and has nothing stored yet. Daugavpils received 2.7K and has 9.2K stored. The easternmost depot for AGC is Sukhinichi which received 2.5K and sent it all out to units.

T10 AGN:

The partially formed pocket from last turn netted all of two Soviet Rifle divisions, everything else escaped. It also appears that massive Soviet reinforcements were railed in to bolster the Leningrad defenses. If nothing else this commitment may make it easier for AGC and AGS to do their offensives. I do form pockets that isolate a total of six divisions. The 4th PG FBD is almost back up to finish the double rail to Pskov next turn and expand it northwards to support the drive on Leningrad.

T10 AGC:

The 2nd PG launches an offensive to tie down Soviet defenders in the Moscow area. The offensive creates two pockets in front of Moscow including capturing a large section of the Vyazma to Moscow double rail and a regiment reaches Borodino - sixty miles from Moscow itself. Another thrust gets within twenty miles of Tula. The 4th Army helps spring a hole to the south near Orel for 3rd PG to burst through the line and drive south without Soviet resistance. There is 130 miles between 3rd PG and 1st PG at the end of the turn. The FBDs finish the single rail loop east of the Dnepr and the 2nd PG FBD is starting to work on the double rail from Smolensk towards Moscow.

T10 AGS:

17th Army springs a hole in the Soviet defenses north of the Dnepr Rive with help from the Hungarian Mobile Corps. The 1st PG pours through the hole and advances deep to the north. The XIV Mot Corps drives into the Crimea towards Sevastapol. The Rumanians are moving towards the front while recovering from their victory at Odessa. The Rumanian FBD returns to Odessa and begins to work on the single rail line going eastwards. The 1st PG FBD is now back to repairing the double rail running south of the Dnepr River line.

T10 Ground Losses:

Combat was not heavy this turn as the Axis were mostly trying to maneuver their way into deep penetrations. This is shown by the low levels of casualties for the Soviets this turn. The Axis lost fairly heavily this turn as they went through some of the toughest parts of the Soviet line near Moscow.

carlkay58 -> RE: T10 (1/31/2022 3:45:06 PM)

T10 Air Losses:

The LW losses are higher than the VVS this turn. Not a good turn but it was mostly the losses in the Ground Attack directive in the south that helped blow the line there wide open and allow 1st PG to waltz through untouched. So worthwhile losses.

T10 Files:

carlkay58 -> T11 (2/4/2022 7:17:34 PM)

T11 OOB:

The Soviets bounce back up to 3.1M so the low casualties last turn has allowed them to bounce back some. The LW is up to 2,467 aircraft as most of the LW rested last turn.

carlkay58 -> RE: T11 (2/4/2022 7:17:56 PM)

T11 Production:

The Vehicle Pool is down to under 7K which is worrisome. The ammo/fuel/vehicles in units are looking good.

carlkay58 -> RE: T11 (2/4/2022 7:18:27 PM)

T11 Freight:

Still a surplus of 1K freight. 17th, 16th, 18th, 11th, and 2nd Armies are under need. The infantry supply priority of 2 is losing ground to the PGs supply priority of 4. I will not change the supply priorities at this time but it is important to note the difference.

carlkay58 -> RE: T11 (2/4/2022 7:18:59 PM)

T11 Trucks:

An uptick in the number of unit trucks used to 47.5K as the 1st and 3rd PGs created deep penetrations last turn.

carlkay58 -> RE: T11 (2/4/2022 7:19:32 PM)

T11 Air Phase:

I adjust the Recon Directives to new areas to follow and discover Soviet defenses. I stop the Ground Attack directive from last turn. I then set up a new Naval Patrol covering Sevastopol and Yalta to isolate western Crimea. The LW loses 63 aircraft with 15 of them involved in the new Naval Patrol directive. The directive does cut off both ports so the directive is a success at this time.

carlkay58 -> RE: T11 (2/4/2022 7:20:12 PM)

T11 Supply Net North:

Notice the extreme length of a few lines supplying AGN which go back to previously used supply depots because of a lack of front line depots being able to handle the necessary supplies. There is some of this in AGC too but not as bad. You can see why trucks in units were increasingly used and the vehicles in the pool have gone down.

carlkay58 -> RE: T11 (2/4/2022 7:20:36 PM)

T11 Supply Net South:

Some of the lines supplying the front units are just as long or longer than in the north. The supply net is beginning to get overly stretched and exposed for the Axis.

T11 Supply Notes:

Berlin shipped out 41K, Prague shipped out 75K, and Vienna shipped out 66K for a total of 182K shipped out from NSS.

Warsaw received 8.9K and has 45K stored. Lvov received 5.5K and has 35.5K stored. Minsk received 3.3K and has 8.8K stored. Daugavpils received 3.3K and has 12.3K stored. Smolensk received 1.8K and has nothing stored. Sukhinichi received 2K and has nothing stored.

carlkay58 -> RE: T11 (2/4/2022 7:21:30 PM)

T11 AGN:

The 18th and 16th Armies rush forward to find the Soviet front line. The 4th PG pulls back to rest this turn and let the infantry set up for further breakthroughs next turn. The 4th PG FBD is back in theater and has connected Pskov to the rail net.

carlkay58 -> RE: T11 (2/4/2022 7:21:52 PM)

T11 AGC:

2nd, 4th, and 9th Armies advance to keep the retreating Soviet front line in contact. 2nd PG attempts to consolidate its defenses while still moving closer to Moscow. A few minor penetrations cuts the double rail from Moscow to the southwest and threatens a pocket in front of the Moscow defenses. 3rd PG manages to meet the 1st PG coming north and puts a wide barrier of controlled hexes cutting off the Soviet Southwestern Front. This is a large pocket and I hope it holds. The 3rd PG FBD is converting the double rail east from Smolensk towards Moscow while the 2nd PG FBD is rushing to try and start working on the double rail from Minsk to Gomel to supply the pocketing troops.

carlkay58 -> RE: T11 (2/4/2022 7:22:15 PM)

T11 AGS:

The XIV Mot Corps spreads out across the Crimea and isolates Yalta and Sevastopol. The rest of the 1 PG forces its way to the north and joins with 3rd PG coming south. Kiev is pocketed as well as another pocket to its southeast. The Rumanian FBD is continuing the single rail from Odessa heading to the east. The 1st PG FBD is working on the double rail south of the Dnepr River. The VIII Hungarian Corps is now working its two RAD units to repair the double rail that will connect Odessa to the central double rail supplying the rest of AGS.

carlkay58 -> RE: T11 (2/4/2022 7:22:38 PM)

T11 Ground Losses:

The Soviets lose another 156K this turn. Their total casualties are now over 2.5M - so half way to my target of 5M by the end of November.

carlkay58 -> RE: T11 (2/4/2022 7:23:01 PM)

T11 Air Losses:

The loss ratio this turn is much better. The LW lost 86 aircraft vs the Soviet VVS losses of 662. Interestingly enough the Soviets lost almost 500 aircraft on the ground in captured Soviet airbases. The panzer forces are always more effective in eliminating Soviet aircraft than the LW!
