Apologies if this has been brought up before but can someone explain the PBEM++ multiplayer aspect of Flashpoint? When I try and play with a buddy and make my moves, I press SEND and then it says waiting. Buddy makes his moves, hits send and then he has a Waiting message. Seems the only way I get my next move is to exit the game. rejoin and then make my second move.

Is that how this works because honestly, it seems pretty 1990s from a multiplayer aspect.

the game is based on the WeGo system, that is, you give orders in the phase of issuing orders, and then executing orders takes place at the same time for both players. Until then, the moment of issuing the orders is asynchronous. So you don't give orders at the same time. Asynchronicity is not a constant shift. It is dependent on the so-called OODA loop. Thus, it may happen that you execute your own order phase, and your opponent issues one minute after your order phase. The intervals between your command phases will never be the same, it depends on what is happening on the battlefield Dobre to widaćw zakładce C3 (na zdjęciu)

Each time you have to exit the game and re-enter the lobby to download a fresh file from the server. Unfortunately, PBEM works like that

There has also been a number of PBEM++ issues in the past ear plus with a server change over and some odd intermittent problems with turns and end-game turn send/receives. Check the technical issues sub-form for more details. It may also be easier to go regular PBEM and send turns via a shared files site with your opponent.
