EddieTheTrooper -> Officer staff and troop ratio (1/23/2022 9:19:35 AM)

Hi!
Can someone explain to me how does it works? I have an officer with quite good troops ratio, but very poor staff ratio. I tried to remove some of his units and give them to different HQ but this only affect troops ratio. His staff ratio is .63 which is very bad.How can I improve it?

You can add or transfer more Stab/Staff men !

Ok, but how can I do that? Stack together two HQs in the same hex and use micro to transfer stab men from one to another? Is there any other way?

Yes, with transfer !
The Feldersatz Bataillon had 20 staff men, you can buy a card or better use Officers Emergency Unit cards !

I've been fooling around with this and it seems, if we're talking about the officer to staff ratio, that transferring more staff only reduces the fraction.

In other words you need more officers or less staff to improve the ratio to 1 or greater.

Please correct me if this is wrong. If not, clue me in to where I can get more officers.

Need more Staff men, the only officer is the HQ commander !

Staff = low level officers !

If you transfer in more staff, you need to keep an eye on your transport. I put too many staff/stab into one HQ and they had to start walking from town to town.

Good to hear of staff officers having to walk. [:D]

So there is no way to increase the Officer to staff ratio other than reduce the staff which can have a detrimental effect on staff to troop ratios (ie. make them less than 1)?

Obviously, it's more important that the staff to troop ratio is >1 according to the algorithms, but juggling these numbers is more needless micromanagement and I use up PPs to make KGs for the adjustments.
