I've inadvertently transferred some SUs out of my FBDs and it turns out you can't transfer them back (next turn or ever). There's no "assign support unit" button on FBD and FBD can't be picked as a target for SU change of HQ.

This destroys the RRV on the FBD, which makes them practically useless and instantly loses the game for Germany.

I think it should be possible to transfer the FBD-bound SUs back to the same FBD, or at least it should be impossible to transfer them out in the first place.

This is GC41 under the 1.02.15 beta. It should be easy to reproduce (transfer SUs out of FBD, try to transfer them back next turn etc.) but I can provide a save file if it's helpful.

This is WAD, and has been this way since WitE1, IIRC. Ideally we'd have a warning message when player detaches a unit from the FBD so they knew they would not be able to transfer back.

After poring over the manual I've found this in section 22.6.2, is this why it's WAD? It says you shouldn't disband the SUs and you can't put additional units in it, but not that you can't transfer the same SUs back in:

I hate to be making an issue out of it, but if a player inadvertently runs into this then it completely ruins the '41 campaign for Germany. Fortunately for me it happened on T1 and not after spending hundreds of hours on it.

That "feature" was AFAIR repaired in WitE 1.08 so you could attach SUs back to FBDs. attaching was probably limited once the maximum RRV was reached.
