Again, in very general US equivalencies (rough values, that would vary between time period, arm of service, and country. I wouldn't get hung up on the numbers too much, especially in terms of the Campaign Series): empty dot = fireteam (~ 4-6) one dot = squad (~ 8-12) two dots = section (~ 4-8) three dots = platoon (~ 40) one vertical bar = company (~100 - 130) two vertical bars = battalion (~ 300 - 600) three vertical bars = regiment (~ 1000 - 2000) x = brigade (~1500 +) xx = division (~8000 - 15000+) xxx = corps (2 divisions or more, and assets)
