Alvaro from WarPlan here taking a look at your wonderful new game.

I noticed that it works for a little a few days on Steam.

Then I go to open it on X day and it never opens. It crashes.
I go to open it manually from the directory and it also crashes there.

When it crashes it just doesn't launch at all.

I have to uninstall and reinstall and reboot to get it to work again for a while till this happens.

I also noticed I suddenly had the same problem with WitE1 AFTER I installed WITE2.

Here are the two crash dump files. I only have this problem with WitE.

Welp now it doesn't launch at all. Just crashes.

What version of the game are you using? Are the crash dump files from WitE2? Are you getting the initial Game Menu to show up that allows you to choose between play, manual or guides? If so, is it then crashing as soon as you select Play?

I figured it out. I was wondering if it had to do with my "hosts" file. I have a lot of spam blocking in there. I created a new hosts file and it fixed the problem.

Used to be in I.T. and that just dawned on me that it might be accessing something online.
