Is there a difference between playing the campaign games vs playing each scenario in stand-alone mode? I am 5 scenarios into Kashmir in stand-alone mode and I am considering starting again in campaign mode.

As per the manual, a campaign adds a specific scenario order, "a pass score to enable progress to the next mission", a campaign specific "Title and Description" plus an Ending Text that "describes the ending of the campaign, what players will see after they’ve beaten it".
So, yeah, you basically have a connecting thread plus some more pressure not to fail.

Sorry. I found it. I must have read over it. I will start just because I love pressure.[:D]

It's worth noting the campaign intro and end text are located as HTML documents within each campaign's folder in Scenarios, so you can easily play through each scenario in standalone mode, only move on to the next scenario when you win its predecessor, and then view the end text after you complete the last mission.

This is helpful. Thanks. I have completed the first 4 scenarios in standalone mode.
