mdsmall -> Mysterious DE event scripts (1/31/2022 10:55:04 PM)

Looking at the Decision Event scripts in the Editor for the 1914 Call to Arms Campaign, what is the purpose of DE 420, 421, and 422 which are checks by Russia to see if three Austro-Hungarian resource hexes are in CP hands? I can not see any consequences to these Decision Events.

Similarly, what is the purpose of DE 651 - 655 and DE 657 - 660, which are checks by Germany to see if French resource hexes are in Entente hands?

I notice that there are two different Decision Events numbered 707 (both relate to Austria-Hungary paying MPPs to prop up morale when it drops below 50% and 25%). Might this be glitch?

Cheers!

Michael

Hi Michael

DE 420, 421 and 422 trigger STRENGTH scripts lowering the unit morale of the defenders of Lemberg, Przemyśl and Kraków respectively.

DE 651 applies the same to Metz, 652 to Königsberg, 653 to Novo-Georgievsk, 654 to Verdun, and 655 to Belfort.

DE 657 triggers a NATIONAL MORALE script boosting French Morale if they liberate Verdun. 658 does the same for Belfort, 659 for Lille, and 660 for Nancy.

I can only find one Decision numbered 707 in the script files for 1914 Call to Arms. The other is 706. Hopefully you can confirm that is the case your side?

Hi Bill - you are right. That must have been a glitch I introduced when playing around with my mod.

Many thanks for all of your replies to my other queries.

Michael
