Witp AE is my favorite game of all time, but I have not played in years because I have lost most of my central vision. (I see 20/200 in one eye and 20/70 corrected in the other) I can handle most of the order phase of the game using a magnifying glass, but I miss most of what is displayed on the screen during the execution (replay) phase. (the sightings of TFs are too small and don't last on the screen long enough, so I miss most of them)
Does anyone know if any of the mods out there increase the display size of items on the map like TFs? I doubt what I am asking for exists, but I had to ask.

-AltFont command line helped me. I am not sure on the spelling/caps.

I think a smaller resolution will make the menus larger in the screen.

My vision used to be 20/15 easily. It's the second thing that has left me as I got older. I can't remember what the first thing was.....

Workaround is using Magnifier form Windows (Shorcut "Windows"-Logo key and Plus (+) press together to activate and "Windows"-Logo Key and "ESC" Key to deactivate)
You can adjust default zoom level, increments and different views of zoom under "accesibility->Magnifier.

I am using Chrome, and as Lowpe just advised you can zoom in an out using CTRL-mouse wheel. Haven't tried that in the game yet but worth a try.

Tried the CTRL-mouse wheel in the game - no effect.

In the main menu under one of the 3 game settings, I don't have my computer open, you can set the time that each message type is on the screen. Hope this helps you....GP

What screen resolution do you use?

May you post your switches?


Also you may try Skacee's mods for a combination that is easier to your eyes.

The now legend Chemkid posted a set of high contrast icons, not bigger that it is what you are requesting, but you could try.

It is in the Optional Mods set.
