It is August 1946 and the evil empire & their American stooges are closing in on the Japanese Home Islands.

In previous games several home defence armies and an HQ have spawned too see off the invaders. Nothing for me thus far though?

Any idea why? Is it because I have garrisoned the major cities with regular troops?

Hiroshima National Guard has just mobilised!


Not sure of the trigger - maybe I'm coming?

The triggers were changed for this a little while back, so that they will deploy if an invasion force, i.e. amphibious transports, is coming, or if naval units are close to Japan.

This was to stop the sailing of one or two Allied naval units from triggering them to deploy, as they should really only mobilize when a landing is nigh.
