DarkHorse2 -> Rebasing AC opens wormhole for subsequent AC (2/6/2022 3:14:46 AM)

In this example, rebased KG 51 from Vinnitsa to Kiev (12 hexes)

I first rebased Stab/KG 51, which incurred Traveled 24%.
Then I./KG 51, which incurred Traveled 3%.
Then II./KG 51, which incurred Traveled 2%.
Then III./KG 51, which incurred Traveled 3%.

The 1st AC seems to open a wormhole at the destination, allowing all subsequent AC to rebase at a significant discount.

This is very common and happens all the time. But I cannot find anything in the manual about it.

Is this WAD?

See, did it again.

This time from Pskov to Smolensk with KG 76.

I kinda expected the laws of physics to be applied equally to all AC units.

This is so fundamental and easy to reproduce, why is nobody else questioning it?

Vinnitsa is very close to Kiev and I think level bombers should not incur a lot of mileage rebasing.

I personally do not like Stab units, and usually put them in national reserve or disband them for replacement aircrafts. As to the larger-size air groups, I do not recall seeing rebasing of level bombers with double digit mileage incurred. Will it be problem confined to Stab units?

I'll move this to the tech support area. I just tried a mass move and 1 unit at a time and didn't see this kind of result. Are you moving the entire AOG or moving 1 unit at a time? Are any a/c damaged during the move? Can you get this to happen repeatedly from a save? If so, please attach a save so I can try it. My only guess is it has to do with damage to a/c and the fact that damaging a stab a/c is a much higher percent damaged than damaging a main unit a/c.
