Antmf_slith -> Anyway to see supply on map? (2/7/2022 1:59:53 PM)

Is there a way to see how much supply or where the supply ends in relation to my units om map?
Also when you take a vic point do I need to keep a unit on that point the whole game to continue to get points or you just get the points for 1 turn?

re. supply:

Supply enters the map from a supply source (usually positioned on your map edge) and is traced from there to your units.

Tha game calculates how many AP the supply would need to travel to reach your unit, using the movement type "supply". Supply uses roads whereever possible. If your unit is within 100 AP reach of the supply source at the start of its turn, it will be fully supplied. If it is farther away than 100 AP, it will receive less supply than requested and has a chance not to receive any fuel at all. The supply rate and fuel chance drops further the farther away your unit is. 250 AP is the maximum range.

You can activate your supply overlay to see the zones in different colors (green = 100%, yellow = 75%, etc). If you click on a hex, you can even see the route the supply takes and how much AP your supply needs to reach that hex.

Note that supply cannot be traced through enemy controlled hexes. It can only be traced on your part of the front line. And the front line that is displayed to you in your own turn might be misleading. It can change during your opponent's turn and what is more: it is solely based on the enemy units you can currently see. That's why the front seems to shift in your favour during night turns (because you can't see the enemy units anymore, so the game does not consider them for your control overlay).

Apart from supply SOURCES there can also be supply BASES. These can be set to work in various modes. In their default mode, supply bases extend the range of your supply SOURCES (extra AP).
