Im just testing around some otherthings not playing a serious game but it seems there are almost zero flaklosses?

And no flak losses for the soviets in post 73.

Maybe it is a rare case.
When I will have more examples I will post them.

I have noticed that 20mm flak is barely firing at il-2's.

The way it was explained to me, once upon a time, was that Flak combat was not resolved at the point an AC unit is fired on, but it somehow accumulates all of the potential flak encounters along its path.

And, at the moment all of the accumulated Flak potential damage is resolved, the information regarding the weapon system involved is no longer maintained.

I know it sounds crazy, but somehow it is abstracted away.

This goes back to a request to update the csv logging to actually denote the weapons involved. Was told it was not possible because it is not available anymore.

Matrix has not been forthcoming regarding the details of the Flak mechanics. Which makes it extremely difficult as players to diagnose bugs and report them. (perhaps the intent?)

Hasn't anybody wondered why there is no more detail in the logs than this?

I would not be surprised at all if the actual Flak weapon specifications are not even used, but are further abstracted down to a couple of primitive types instead.
