AZKGungHo -> No Mouse Arrow (2/19/2022 6:23:05 PM)

I just got the new update to the game via steam, and when I loaded it couldn't see my mouse arrow.

I restarted the game, restarted the computer, same result.

Is this happening to anyone else and what can I do about it?

Hi AZKGungHo

Can you try this: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/mouse-cursor-invisible-when-playing-any-full/08c5c6c3-5608-4287-bedc-832165af2750

I tried it but didn't help.

I have found that the mouse only disappears when I'm using OBS to record. I have the record mouse arrow option selected in OBS so I'm not sure what's going on. This only happened with the latest update, so there must be some kind of conflict there but have no idea what.

I tried all the methods listed, nothing has helped so far. Again, this only happens when I'm using OBS, otherwise the mouse pointer shows up just fine.

Have you tried asking OBS support? I had same issue with games that run in borderless full window mode while recording, but not V&V.

Hey there!

Seems like you're facing quite the mouse chase in Valor & Victory. It's frustrating when your pointer decides to play hide and seek, especially during crucial gaming moments. From what I gather, this isn't just a one-player game – others have experienced this too.

AZKGungHo, you've been on quite the troubleshooting spree! Kudos for exploring all those avenues. It's interesting how this mouse vanishing act only occurs when OBS steps onto the scene. It's like they're not in sync, and your pointer is pulling a vanishing act just to mess with you.

YOBOWARGAMES swooped in with a lifeline, suggesting a Microsoft fix, but it seems like no luck there. And Jeebo, thanks for throwing in your two cents! You suggested tapping into the wisdom of OBS support. They might hold the key to ending this mouse mayhem once and for all.

Hang tight, AZKGungHo. Let's hope the gaming universe aligns soon, and your pointer reappears, ready for action. Until then, keep your mouse-clicking fingers at the ready, and maybe throw in a few spells of patience for good measure!

Happy gaming!
