designer1 -> Tichonovka Question (9/25/2003 7:08:10 PM) Playing as the Soviet, I have noticed that the troops that beging the game cut off in Tichonovka can, in fact receive replacements from Alert Points. Is this intentional? After all, they are surrounded... Does the same apply to Axis troops in the Pocket once the pocket has formed?

Sonny -> (9/25/2003 9:52:04 PM) I think that is an airfield and replacements can be flown in - at least that is the explaination for Korsun - if you control the airfield you can get replacements.

Don't forget that replacements aren't necesarily JUST troops, but represents the unit gaining better command and control, organisation, rest etc Under those circumstances it seems okay that they can be strengthened.
