Well after yesterdays success around Lunga I decided to get slick. After my CV TF finished off the cripples from our night action I knew that Brandon would know with pretty good accuracy just where about my TF was. So I split off a couple off DD’s and sent them to the west in the hope that if he came around Guadalcanal, to the west, with his CVs in order to catch my CVs, that he would run right into my DD decoy TF and send his airstrikes at them. Well it worked perfectly with just one hitch! I moved my CVs to far to the east and was out of range to attack his CVs while they were busy with my DD decoy force.
Two DDs go up on the USN scoreboard. Nice shooting my friend but I should have had you! The best laid plans!! :mad:
