StCyr -> Why donīt close this forum... (9/27/2003 5:26:21 AM)

Why donīt close this forum for some month and reopen it when the game is close to be finished - if at all...always the same questions and the same lack of answers

Le Tondu -> Sorry to hear that. (9/27/2003 6:54:18 AM)

I beg to differ. As one has been pretty critical about Matix and the lack of answers, I must say that I've recieved my answers quite nicely. I'm content right now to support Matrix and wait. Bart has answered the questions of others too and I have learned much from them. Just remember that he does the best that he can.

Have you tried to address your questions to Bart? Have you tried to address them in a way that requires a simple answer?

With the board remaining open, Matrix hears our concerns and feelings about different subjects relating to this game. When we voice an opinion, we don't know if the opinion is thought highly of or not. We don't have to. We still get to voice it and that is what matters because you do not know how important an expressed idea can be. Just by sharing your feelings on a subject, you can give a perspective to the developers that will help them to find the missing link (so to speak) that solves a persistent problem that they might be having. You just don't know. Stranger things have happened in the history of problem solving.

No, I think that it would be a monumental mistake to close this board. I am willing to bet that Matrix feels the same way. Besides, friends can be made in the mean time. :) Heck, just go ahead and start a thread about your favorite aspect of the Napoleonic wars and see what happens.

Or if it bothers you so much, you can always just go away for a month and then come back and read all the threads and postings that you missed. ;)
