sequence of patches?

what are the sequence of patches...i did the 2.0 cumulative then the 2.3...i gather that was not quite right...one should put all of the intermediate (2.1, 2.2, etc.) patches in before 2.3/whatever?

I believe after the full 2.0, you have to do 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 in succession.
