It's definately fun and exciting game. Don't write it off...

I have one PBEM game where I play USN, and have the usual Aircobra squadron packed with too many pilots. I know it's a bug, it's a known bug, so I just play with this knowledge to create even more fun. I have created a TF with Long Island carrier (another known possible bug) to see if he can make the pilots disappear. I've loaded my Aircobras and sent them sailing towards Brisbane. At the end of the jurney all my pilots were still there, but now there was one damaged plane, so I was able to use one of Mogami's workarounds, to send the excess pilots to the pool. :D

What I'm trying to say is, even bugs can be fun, in the periods of low activity.

Stick with it, change tactics accordingly, be carefull to examine all TFs every turn, and play PBEM, the greatest fun arround... :D

I've started ten games (scen#17) of UV and in seven of them my opponents
have bailed on me:
2x I thrashed them and they surrendered
1x when a new patch was released he wanted a restart but I didn't so we didn't continue.
2x the other persons bailed because of "ahistorical" combat results
2x the other persons bailed because of bugs
1x I won on the 31st Dec 1943
-----------------------------------------------------------------

2x still in play

A rocky road.
