I won't ever buy a brand-name system again, not since I built myself a killer machine for under $400. It's not the ubergamer, but it is a lot better than a K6-III 450. AMD Athlon 1800+, Asus A7N266-VM (nFORCE 220D chipset), 256MB PC2100 (initially). It's sad, since I paid well over $1500 for the K6-III when I got it. And that was only with 128 MB of PC133, a 450MHz processor, a Voodoo3 3000 video card, and a 22 GB IBM Ultra66 hard drive.
