I dont know how to chop a 3 minute song into a 5 second wav.[/QUOTE]Just use your Windows Sound Recorder located in (on Win98 at least) Programs----> Accessories----> Entertainment ----> Sound Recorder.
Open the file and chop it up anyway you want. Make sure you save it under a different name, so you'll always have the original to play with.
