EricLarsen -> Interstellar Standoff Bug (10/22/2003 10:06:07 PM)
|
I finally figured out how to see the Interstellar Standoffs hit their targets in version 2.1. A big improvement over before. Now I see them come in nicely. Only one problem, I can't target anything other than the default target presented by the program. I've tried using the "Change" feature to select cities on worlds of my choosing but all the shots end up going against the default city. I even went to selecting the cities as targets from the solar view and could see the little white spot indicating the correct city as target and seeing that city's name in the targetting box but still all shots end up going against the default target city. But all shots shot at different cities and worlds ended up attacking the default target city and world. I sure would like to know that what I target the program will shoot at correctly. I sure hope this was fixed in version 2.2 and I sure hope Matrix gets off it's duff and gets that patch out. This is now the second time Matrix has sat on an SUDG patch for months waiting for testing before release. Because of this lax attitude on getting SUDG patches tested and released I've decided that I will never buy another Matrix product until it is fully finished and the last patch posted! Just isn't worth buying a game that doesn't work correctly and having to deal with the frustrations of poor beta testing. Eric Larsen
