Cross -> PBEM zip file/turn problem (11/8/2003 10:12:15 PM)

I am currently PBEM. I received the zip file from my opponent. Unzipped it went into the game to start my turn.
Everything apeared OK, but then I noticed that my forces have moved back in time!!! I am not as far forward as I was at the end of my last turn! :(
I hit the "1" key and it says:
Player 1: 11 loads 10 quits
Player 2: 11 loads 10 quits
Sounds as if somehow my opponent didn't finish his turn, yet it does open on the British turn but back in time! :confused:
If anyone thinks they know what the problem is, I would be grateful for some clues
