I agree, Runes. I hope that scripting for single player AI gets more "open ended" so that games have some replay value. Op Flashpoint comes the closest with their mission maker-you can plot AI waypoints such as "patrol" that allow a general location to be full of enemy.

This problem is my biggest gripe with FPS games, one time play in single missions isn't enough-since my crap 56k modem won't allow for decent multiplay most of the time. ALso, playing "bunnyhopping" preteens isn't my idea of a good time.

Well, BF1942 does have some AI interaction in single player... if you give your team orders to defend or take an objective, or support you or stop to give you a ride, they will do so... to some extent. :p
