Please consider making Barges recon units.
Here's why - I am currently playing a river crossing as Soviets with C&C on. I have a barge w/out a radio and it is out of contact. It has delivered its first tank but it won't turn around and pick up the next tank that it can see on the opposite riverbank. Obviously, this isn't an issue with C&C off but it is very annoying as it is now.
Also, in a similar vein, is it possible to make tank crews recon without making the parent tank a recon unit? Again, with C&C on, it would be nice to be able to move a tank crew AWAY from the battle instead of always towards the objective and the enemy.
