I've completed the Order of battle manager for
windows 9x. you may obtain it from http://jphz.tripod.com There is also a Windows NT version. I've not full
been able to test the WinNT version. Any Pioneers to test it? Let me know if it works. Good luck, have fun, backup your oob09-00b91 files!
thanks

RockinHarry -> (8/25/2001 10:35:00 PM)

Thank you, will check it out tonight. (it´s 2.46 MB file BTW..) __________

I am checking out teh NT version in WIN 2K - I'll get back to you - THANKS A BUNCH!!!

heintz28 -> (8/26/2001 12:35:00 AM)

I'm pretty sure ,the more tested, 9x version will
work on NT if the designated NT version does not. I have no clue about win2k.

Paul Vebber -> (8/26/2001 10:53:00 AM)

I tried a couple things and the NT versions seems to be working on W2K, but I did not try everythign - Very nice utility!

Bump - if you have not tried this the more I use it the more I like it...with permission, we would like to include it in the v7 utilities folder!

heintz28 -> (8/30/2001 3:15:00 AM)

I'd be honored if you included the OOB manager in
your v7 release. Anyone who wants it can use it, post it on their
web site, or whatever…. I wish I had time to clean it up some… but I have
little time for the near future. Thanks,
Heintz28

Hi, Was able to find time to fix a possible bug in OOB manager. New versions are on the http://jphz.tripod.com web sight now. Bug was that .tob files built up in the manager/current directory. This should fix that.
Sorry for any Inconvenience. Just let the self-extracting file overight the
old files... it wont(shouldn't) delete your
saved .tob files. good luck

RockinHarry -> (9/7/2001 12:34:00 AM)

Thanks,...will try again. ________

xafemo -> (9/8/2001 12:48:00 AM)

Dear friend:
I have a problem with the self-extracting file: when I try to execute it, my system tells me that it is not an application valid Win32. Some idea?
Thank you.

heintz28 -> (9/8/2001 5:03:00 AM)

I noticed that downloads form tripod using
Internet Explorer leaves off the .exe at the end of the file. someone else also had this trouble. try to rename the download with a .exe on the end or download again and make sure that the file is
called oobman_9x.exe . sorry for the troubles....
Heintz28

xafemo -> (9/8/2001 5:24:00 PM)

Thank you! It works!

skukko -> (9/8/2001 7:48:00 PM)

Thanx for utility Its nice tool. well first I did name it to *.zip -file and it didn't work but after some thinking I discovered that its *.exe... mosh

Don Doom -> (9/9/2001 4:08:00 AM)

Hi.
I tried to use your program and all I get is a start up script error?
I had dl and renamed the file w/.exe and installed ok, but when I start it it gives the above error.

Ahhhh, Your right! After fixing the last bug,I messed up the extraction directory in the 9x version. When extracting make sure the path is
C:\matrixgames\Steel Panthers Wordls At War\manager The important thing is that "manager" directory is under whatever directory you used for the
game. you can modify the extraction directory in the download you have or Download a new copy. That caused the script error.
The copy at jphz.tripod.com has been corrected as of this post. Sorry for the problems again

Don Doom -> (9/9/2001 5:53:00 AM)

thanks that worked.

Mikimoto -> (9/9/2001 6:07:00 AM)

Hello.
Its a nice tool. I used three or four sets of oobs, all very confusing. This helps a lot now. Very good work
