Getting the Current Version (Full Version)

Hi,

I took a look at the Tech Support forum and read the post that I would find a quicker response over here.

I am setting up a new computer and I am trying to make sure my version of SPWAW is up to date. I have installed my copy of the Desert Fox 1941 Mega Campaign. This CD came with SPWAW 5.0.

When I go to the downloads section I can only find the full version for SPWAW 8.0 and the update from 8.0 to 8.1. Is there an update from 5.0 to 8.1 ?

If I have to download the full version 8.0 and the update to 8.1 how will I get the Desert Fox 1941 campaign incorporated into the game?

Hi,

you have to download the full new v8 , thereīs no upgrade from 5 to 8.

Do a clean install of SPWAW v8, scrap 5 completly (you donīt need it anyway [;)] ). Then simply install the Desert Fox MC and point it to the install folder of SPWAW v8.

Thanks for the advice. I figured I would need to download the full version 8.0 but I just wanted to make sure before I started the download.
