Tom Terror -> much ado about nothing (9/4/2001 6:44:00 PM)

Please note: The following is by no means a flame, I am not trying to insult somebody, it is just an observation. Looking at the forum I get the impression that a lot of people seem to be very impatient. I mean we are gamers, playing a turn based wargame - so we are already used to reconsider every move we make. So I just don't get it that nearly every day there's a new Topic poping up stating: "why has this and that happend - explain!", "How come I didn't got what I'd expected" or "How dare you to to..." (a bit exaggerative, sure). That is absolutely not neccesary. Please think twice. Most of the time those topics can be answerded by reading the last five topics in the forum or browsing through the Matrix site or the game manual. What I wanted to express is, that everybody who asks why when the answer is obvious or just two clicks away, makes himself look dumb. I am not referring to people new to SPWaW and Matrix, and I don't want to scare anybody off to ask questions etc. But before you yell think twice, it would probably only be much ado about nothing. TomT
