Ok, so I did what Miller logan said and patched to 1.11. Everythings hunky-dory, right?

Nope.

Turn 8, playing full Korsun campaign as Russians. Start of turn -

All forts for the germans north of (x,15) on the east side and North of (x,19) on the west have gone Poof! Thats right, all thats left is some mines. Sigh. Is this a timed event? I can send the turn or a pic if you want to see. I dont have a website yet to ftp a pic from.

TIA gang.

Taiko,

Sounds like you may have recalled strong points. These appear along the frontline with mine underneath. They are detached from units (the units are frozen while they have the detached strongpoints in use). When you recall the strongpoints and the unit becomes mobile you'll see exactly what you described.

If you could list several of the specific hexes this happened at I'll take a look at what is suppose to be there.

There is a problem with the forts disappearing when you patch to 1.10, you need to then go and apply the 1.11 patch which will fix this problem.

ok, I set up a webpage, taught myself web publishing and resized the screendump, all after dinner I might add. ;)

Lets see if this link works.

I hear what you are saying about the recalled strongpoints. But that sure is a lot of them.

Edit : The link seems to work. Anyone having trouble with it let me know.

I'll go check the autosave turn7 and the pre-turn8 save to see if its just forts getting recalled.

I'll be a monkey's uncle. They were pickets that were released. How about that.

Problem solved - It was all in my head.
