Not to mention the cost....what is the cost by the way?

There is a similar thing going for the 60th anniversary of D-day also....costs about $2900. Wish I could do it.

WoW that sounds cool, Though being on the Love Boat would freak me out kinda, might even ruin the trip[:)], I bet howeaver it would be cheaper than flying to all those places, even if you jumped between them all. Midway, can you even fly thier? Or is it still off limits kinda?

Is that a picture of the Pacific Princess at the bottom of your post? Looks a little cramped. And there's no pool, though probably room for one shuffleboard court.

You can fly to midway, just need to fly in after dark to avoid the birds.

valortours.com is offering many "WW2" trips this year including a two week visit to the Solomon Islands. Starts July 30 or 31 and visits many of the sights that we have all read about.

Almost took it but other expendatures took over(windows for the house)but maybe next year with a visit to OZ.

But it mounts 8" guns..., so you get first crack at the docking facilities and the "skeet
shooting" is AWESOME!
