Here should be an easy one. Who are these guys eating a Howard Johnson's delectable 3 course meal?

Not easy for me. I only recognize Marshall- on the right.

Person who operates spoon is obviously General George C. Marshall, he was US Secretary of State at that time.

EDIT: There is always someone who can type faster

I'm just sitting at work with nothing to do at the moment.

You're a few years ahead of yourself, Subchaser. This was taken during the war.

If left to right, like most of us read, you get 4 white pegs (remember Mastermind?). So what is the correct order from left to right? [;)]

LargeSlowTarget -> RE: Who are these guys eating the HoJo meal? (5/6/2004 2:32:01 PM)

Starting from the guy at the lower right corner and going counter-clockwise... [:'(]

You like to read Arabic I presume [:D]. Yes, you get 4 black pegs.

Next one will be more difficult... [sm=00000622.gif]

Don't you see? They have vodka or white rum 'on the rocks'.

Feinder -> RE: Who are these guys eating the HoJo meal? (5/7/2004 8:42:03 PM)

King: Hey, you gonna eat dat?

Marshal: Keep your god-d_mned spoon out of my Jello.

Leahy: These 'taders are pretty good. I'll trade ya my roll for your 'taders.

Marshal: No way. The roll's way better than the 'taders. Give me your string beans and the 'taders, and I'll give you my roll, and King's Jello.

I am waiting for the discussion of whether the spoon is a standard Mk. I Spoon, or whether it is an improved Mk. IA or Mk. 2 Spoon, and the relative merits of each. Perhaps a tradeoff between bowl size and handle length? Any takers?

I hope it's a Mark 1a spoon. Matrix nerfed the production rates of the Mark 1 in the last patch. I heard Gary was being really stubborn about his "Mark 1 spoon economic modeling". And the AI takes too long upgrade to the Mark 2. But there's hope for the situation if players just use the editor.

Tell you what tho, I'm waiting for the "Type 7 Fork" fan-boys to be all up in arms over the fact that in the current beta games, the Type 7 Fork always gets pummeled by by Mark 1 Spoon. Everybody knows that historically, the Type 7 Fork could kick the Mark 1 Spoon's ass. Now that's an issue that Gary really should be addressing.

Hrumph.

Would it be bad to talk about the flowers "re-spawing'?

Cpl Agarn -> RE: Who are these guys eating the HoJo meal? (5/7/2004 10:49:13 PM)

According to the 1944 Jane's All the World's Tableware.it is indeed a Mark Ia spoon.
