bruce205 -> KP interest lagging? (5/9/2004 12:24:06 AM)

Purchased KP and am running through the tutorials (now in lesson 7) and its really cool so far.
Question though, is this game losing steam after all the rave reviews when it first came out? I just ask this as the forums seem real quiet or does that mean everyone is playing?
Would hate to see interest in this game die right away.
Thanks

Head on over to Run5. Things are in full swing there.

indeed. In case you need it:

4 ongoing tournaments, plenty of people requesting PBEM games, and an active ladder.

I read with appreciation your concern about interest and at the same time that you were tackling the tutorials. The recess in excitement might be a reflection of those of us trying to develop through tutorial. Often, I have to drop my efforts in sungle player games and go back to tutorials. It has been the same with the SPWW and HWay to the Reich.
I enjoy this game format quite a bit.
Maybe I've missed it, but a scheduled encounter between experience levels with a commentator might help. I'm new at the whole system - and quite a bit older for a beginner (63), but certainly feel these forums and resources that contribute to them are helpful.

Hi gents

I am not sure interest has dropped so much as people have drifted away from here a bit. If I am like others I'd like to spend time in 3 or so forums like I used to but I just don't have time these days (right now). So I tend to spend my time at on eforum and use the spare time to help design scenarios for the peer group. It has been posted here many times before but come over to this site and have a look: Run5

Apart from the very latest in info including files, tutorials, essays and the like by both the community and the designers(!!!), but if you click on the "Discussion" link will find a really neat set of forums where a heap of us meet. Drop by and see if you aren't hooked [;)] Hmm, I should get into scientology...
