Bong?

Greyshaft -> Easy! (5/12/2004 1:53:10 AM)

A US pilot demonstrating the proper use of the new super-absorbant incontinence pads issued to long distance fliers from mid 1943. This replaced the "empty beer bottle and a length of rubber hose" technique that had been pioneered by US aviators in WWI.

Rendova -> RE: Easy! (5/12/2004 2:00:34 AM)

He is standing in front of a F4U but it isn't Boyington.... So I say its Robert M Hanson, the leading Corsair ace

A very happy US pilot...., musta heard about that shipload of nurses arriving today.
Wait 'till he finds out they're all Nuns.

Subchaser -> RE: Name This...(63) (5/12/2004 3:38:36 PM)

Looks like John Bolt, but I’m not sure.

Dunhere -> RE: Name This...(63) (5/12/2004 3:57:08 PM)

I hesitated between :

1/ Captain Marion E. Carl, first Marine Ace in WWII
and
2/ the Black sheep J. Bolt, Ace in both WWI and Korea.

But i think Subchaser is rght :)

Pkunzipper -> RE: Name This...(63) (5/12/2004 5:15:42 PM)
