Just a quick question that I didn't find any answer to in the manual or the forum.

Will the AI in a random (i.e. not scenario or campaign) battle ever request reinforcements?

It would seem not, but in a recent battle some ten new AI tanks appeared halfway to the frontline.
This caused me to wonder.

I have seen the AI hold back armoured assets until a certain point in a battle. Not sure if this is tied in to number of turns or capturing certain VHs. In a recent long campaign from May 1940 to the finish (40-ish battles) I guess I saw this happen 3 or 4 times.
