Does Matrix have a plan to sell, or include with the cd, a large map ?

ShakyJake -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 2:05:01 AM)

There was a .PDF map that came with UV. I imagine there would also be a similar one with WitP, and that you could print it off just as easily.

freeboy -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 4:09:46 AM)

I probably will be paying for a really nice map of the pacific at the local map store[:D]

kaleun -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 4:16:04 AM)

Yeah, but it will not have the grid overlay.

freeboy -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 4:20:01 AM)

I have a nice photo quality printer, but the ink for all that blue water[:-].. gues I could do both and have a pretty one tostick the pins into and a paper one with taped edges and hexes...
whats your K-plan?

kaleun -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 4:29:00 AM)

Two maps, one pretty one, and a plastified one, to draw on with different colored markers.
Yeah [X(]Lots of different colored markers! Yeah!. Drool drool.
(The wait is getting to me, I guess)

siRkid -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 4:33:02 AM)

Print out the map, glue it to foam board, buy a card table, Plexiglas, and grease pencils and your good to go.

Gyrene -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 4:50:41 AM)

Kid, oh no, not the map crazyness starting again! You might need to post another shot of yourself holding up that large printout you had made!

freeboy -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 4:57:03 AM)

Kaleun... we really should start a witp club here.. are you in the front range?

Becket -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 5:13:02 AM)

Kid, didn't you mention that Matrix was going to be selling the map?

Xargun -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 5:28:22 AM)

I plan on buying the map Matrix puts out (provided its released same time as the game - otherwise they probably shouldn't bother) and laminating it. Then I can draw on it with markers and such and just wash it clean. I work at a copy center and will be laminating it myself so it works perfectly [:)]

Fred98 -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 5:38:46 AM)

In UV, the map fitted neatly onto a A4 size page.

I tried to print it onto A3 size ( computer paper). But the text was fuzzy at that size.

WITP covers such a large area that a map at A4 size will not be useful.

Mr.Frag -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 6:13:25 AM)

The map is a series of 1500x1500 sections. Printing it out will not really help you as the locations are not *on* the map artwork itself.

Raverdave -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 7:17:57 AM)

I asked Joel about printing off some maps and selling them, he siad that it is something that they will look at but are not promising anything. I guess that it is a simply question of market forces....if enough people ask then there is a greater chance of it happening.

Sneer -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 11:38:03 AM)

I would like to see it in the box

Cap Mandrake -> RE: Map (6/4/2004 4:31:42 PM)

I'm thinking of painting the map on the wall of billiard/game room and hiring a Dana Wynter look alike to move the little flags around

kaleun -> RE: WITP club (6/4/2004 7:33:34 PM)
