Well, I've dabbled with the editor for KP a bit and that doesn't necessarily make a conversion "easy". Perhaps BiN's editor will be more "user friendly"? Anyway, with the "one action per turn" rubric in place, this affects many more things than just combat (the rate of which is also doubled). You have to consider the number of bridge demolitions and repairs, air sorties, barrages, and a host of other 1-action-per-turn "details" when making such a dramatic shift (1/2-day to 1 day = 100% time increase). Perhaps SSG can enlighten us on which scale they now believe more faithfully reflects historical capability concerning the aforementioned (and other implicated) procedures? In a word, some genuine, honest, designers' notes on what is deemed to be a "better scale" for the engine. [:)]
