Good Post. This is just straight fact. Bidding is a must. It is an integral part of the game (as someone said earlier).

If you could get it into the first patch, that would be great. Or like he said, be able to manually change the VP totals.

On what do you base your opinion. In any of the battles or encounters I have read, its usually because the Spanish cavalry leg it and expose the flanks of their infantry to French Cavalry. In general the infantry are staying the pace until that happens! [;)]

Carry on the great work chaps I content myself with checking out the forums once in a while to see when the release is happening and where and when I can buy it in the UK.
