Hi Guys

Marshall is here at Origins and will be showing off the latest version of EIA. So if you are attending the show please stop by and see us. We will also be setting up a live web cam at the show as well.

David

Will be looking forward to the web-cam bit.

Hi Guys

Marshall been demoing the game and the EIA fans have been going wild. We been thrilled by the response. We had a meeting on this project tonight and things should start moving pretty fast now. We have a few minor issues we want to address but no major things.

BoerWar -> RE: Empires In Arms Showing At Origins 2004 (6/27/2004 3:06:38 PM)

Can't wait. Now stop talking to us and get back to work! [:D]

Damn I almost missed that post... I hope "pretty fast" means the same thing in my world as in yours... [8|]

Will EiA be at WBC in a couple of weeks? Like on Saturday August 7 perhaps?? I plan to drop in and see what's happening. [:)]

adamflo79 -> RE: Empires In Arms Showing At Origins 2004 (7/23/2004 2:22:53 PM)

Will empires in arms be at Gen Con at the end of august? I know it is a big board game convention. However I would think a lot of fans will be at the convention.

pzgndr -> RE: Empires In Arms Showing At Origins 2004 (8/8/2004 3:39:58 PM)

I managed to catch a demo of EiA at WBC yesterday. Nobody seemed to know what to do with it except David Heath, so he gave the demo himself. (Thank you again, David!)

I like the way you can set the AI for each indvidual country to easy/medium/hard, and with other comments last week about random profiles added in for each AI opponent this should be very good for replayability.

The maps and battle screens looked good. Nice soundtrack. I'm looking forward to playing this one.

demo ??? aargghh ... heart attack!

John Umber -> RE: Empires In Arms Showing At Origins 2004 (8/9/2004 11:21:44 AM)

Is this a dream come true?

mattbirra -> RE: Empires In Arms Showing At Origins 2004 (8/10/2004 9:18:40 PM)

Plz, where could we find an Empire in Arms demo ????
Thanks in advance. [:D]

fjbn -> RE: Empires In Arms Showing At Origins 2004 (8/10/2004 9:38:34 PM)

We need a demo!. I think that users feedback based on game experience will be very interesting and the final ressult better.[&o]

mattbirra -> RE: Empires In Arms Showing At Origins 2004 (8/10/2004 9:50:58 PM)

I think, the IA is only to get used to the game , since i assume all of us have played the board game, could you imagine a Rusian IA attacking Turkey to weak it and just let Austria figth freely against France in a next war, or let Great Britain get the north of Africa, this kind of tricks is only for human brains, NEVER an IA could make a good diplomatic effort...

mattbirra -> RE: Empires In Arms Showing At Origins 2004 (8/10/2004 9:51:28 PM)

And yes ... we need a DEMO [:D]

Just to clarify, I did not see THE demo the other day since there is no demo. What I saw was a demonstration of the latest beta version. And that's as good as it gets, eh? [8D]

Actually, I have never played EiA. I did play AH's War and Peace back in the pre-EiA days. I was hoping to maybe catch a game of EiA being played at WBC but it wasn't even listed. Out of what, 100+ boardgames being played and no EiA? You diehards must be hiding out someplace. [:'(]

Hanal -> RE: Empires In Arms Showing At Origins 2004 (8/11/2004 1:45:46 AM)

Bill...I tried selling my copy of War and Peace on Ebay just last week, because I'm in the process of moving, and space is at a premium....I did not get a sniff...not even Guns of August went....in a way I was glad they didn't sell.....
