Here is a list of The oob fixes from the oob forum. Posting here for those of you who may not have visited there. Alot of these were taken from member posts, hopefully all will be addressed, if they are in fact in error.
1.) Nationalist China ammo truck has carry capacity of 218 and does not reload ammo, other carrier type trucks appear in the buy screen under "ammo carrier".Appears it or the others are classed worng perhaps? 2.) Soviet Rockets typo cost 169 is listed as only 69 3.) 30 cal MG varys in kill from 7-10 and cost from 21-30 in us, usmc, UK oob(unsure of correct numbers here)the US 30 Cal MMG M1919A4 (weapon 120) and its brothers in the USMC, UK and other allied OOB! Seems to me the US is unable to use its own weapons properly! Example US version: HE Kill=7, FC=3, RngF=2. Same weapon for UK: HE Kill=9, FC=3, RngF=2 For other Allies: Same as UK For USMC: HE Kill=9 ect.
4.) One extra AT section in german OOB, deleting would free up extra oob slot. 5.) 8 in howitzer shows 0 ammo for fourth tube US oob 6.) CAPTURED TANKS compared to original countries-
pzIIIh germany-FT-40. ST and RT 36 FH-69 Sh-36 Rh-69(rear turret high here?) Captured PZIII Russia OOB-FT-29 RT and ST all26 hull all sides-26(big difference from german PZIII
german PZIVh-FT-87 ST,RT all36 FH-88 SH36 RH-23 Captured PZIV-FT-71 ST-26 RT-21 FH67 SH-26 RH 16(Big differences here again
Soviet T34m40 - FT-51 ST,RT-all54 FH-40 sh-34 RH39 Captured GermanT34m40- FT-61 ST,RT all54 FH-57 SH-48 RH-54 Soviet T34 M43-FT-66 ST,RT all 50 FH-40, SH,RH all 39 capturedGerman T34M43-FT-80 ST,RT all60 FH-57 SH,RH all 39 Again some glaring differences.
7.) Availability of pzfausts (from Ammo SGT) Unit 179 PF60 change availability from Sep 43 to Sep 44 to end 49 Unit 180 PF100 change availability from Jan 44 to November44 end 49 Unit 153 German infantry squad , only Ger inf with a PF (is identical to 152) but has a PF 60 currently available November 43.. that works well for a PF 30 if you want to get a PF to them as early as reasonable or change the date to Sept 44 and keep the PF 60 .. be sure to make 152 available till sept 44 , it currently ends at end 43. Units 154 SS without PF and 155 SS inf w/PF60 same thing same dates Unit 156 with PF100 dates are good Unit 159 FJ infantry available November 43 with a PF100 should be November 44 to end for the PF100 or could be a PF 30 that early depends on how badly you want the FJ Gewehr 42. Suggestion Unit 158 is a 33/40 and panzerwurfmine available march 42 change it to Sept 43 and give it a FJ 42 and a PF30 . then 159 can hold off till Nov44 and have the PF100. unit 157 FJ 1935 to end of 43 has room to add the panzerwurfmine. Unit 161 GE VG SMG squad available July 44 has the PF60.. thats only a couple of months early and it would be more correct for it to have the PF60 than the PF30 over the available life of the unit so leave it be close enough. 8.) M1 VS M9 bazooka(again from Ammo Sgt) Also US forces are still ( Mostly paratroops) stuck with the M-1 Bazooka well after the M-9 was available.. since with the bazooka it is an ammo issue both the M-1 and the M-9 Bazookas only difference is the M-9 folds for easier carry) should both have the 115 pen since they both fired the same M6A3 rocket after jan 44 .. the M6A1 rocket pre jan 44 is the one with the 85 pen .. I know this has been mentioned before but I thought i would try again .. 9.) FINNISH OOB (from JarkKo)-- T-28 & T-28E, wrong guns, should have L-10. - KV-1E, wrong gun, should have ZiS-5 as it was KV-1 m 1941 E. Also KV-1B should have that same gun. - Machineguns MG-08 and M/32-33 are seriously underestimated. Both were Maxim machineguns that had also optical sights available. M/32-33 was *improved* version developed from Russian/Soviet Maxim m1910. It had huge amount of improvements that made it much more accurate, realible and gave it rate-of-fire of 850 rounds/minute (compared 600/minute of Maxim m/1910). Guess which of the two, m1910 or M/32-33, has better numbers in official oob. - Tank company (the one with T-26 and Vickers) is missing its 17th tank (That tank company had command section of 2 tanks). 10.) Nationalist Spain OOB-Nuff said! 11.) Mortar Musings-Fixed by Bryan Price! (as best as could be, Think Ammo SGT hepled here as well.) 12.) Anzac unit 122 used as airborne plt hq 1943-49 has only 2 men but has 4 weapons including the platoon 2in mortar. I assume the change is still in effect that an infantry unit can't fire more weapons than it has men. 13.) Anzac med naval guns has ROF 30 from 1930-43, all other med naval guns including Azac med from oct 44-49 have ROF 15. Is there a reason they get the extra heavy fire? 14.) the armor slope values on the US M4A1 are backwards between hull and turret front. Also, I think the M4 and M4A1 values are switched for armor, when compared to the equivalent tanks in other countires using shermans. I had pointed this out several months ago but it slipped through the cracks. Recieved this from "the wood". Dont know for sure about the numbers, havnt looked yet. 15.) On K TIger et al, rember there is a side hull plate at 25 degrees and a verticle suspension plate at 0, I use 18 as a compromise between them since there is only one allowed. The J TIger needs its fixed though...so as not to be 0 16.) Just noticed that in German OOB StG44 has values accuracy= 8 HEkill= 4 but in other nations OOBs it has values: Accuracy=12 HEkill=4 and i think Germans are only who uses this weapon. 17.) StuG 40 ausf F 7.5cm Stuk 40 Max Pen. 146 Weapon #207 StuG 40 ausf F/8 7.5cm Stuk 40/48 Max Pen. 135 Weapon #208 the Max Pen. seem to be reversed ? 18.) StuG 40 f/8 should be available from September 1942 and not from June. These units were not built until September. 19.)UK unit 051 Sherman I available from October 1942. This unit should in fact be the Sherman II with the cast hull. Almost all of the tanks supplied to the 8th Army were of the MkII variant. They carried a 75mm M2 gun, a CMG and a BMG plus a twin fixed BMG in the front hull- same as the M3 Grant.
20.)Is the US army Jackson available too early? Only 300 were produced from April-July 1944 and presumably were not supplied to the Front until later. ACMS, they were deployed in 'late 1944'. In any case there were half as many Jacksons built as Hellcats and they should therefore have a x1 or x2 rarity. (IMO)
21.)Canada Medium Tank formations should drop the "Med" and be named "Tank Section", Platoon, Company, etc. 22.) From Nikademus found another possible fix. 7.0 continues the variable penetration figures for the M3 75mm gun of the Sherman, Sherman lend-lease and US Marine Sherman, all with the same gun and ammo
US Army Sherman : pen 91
US Marine Sherman: pen 106
British Sherman : pen 106
Also noticed that the 75mm QQF gun of the Cromwell, a 57mm supposedly bored out to be able to fire US M3 75mm ammo is given a pen figure of 112. Not sure on this one as maybe the gun gives the shell some more kick but i've read in one source (Grove) that this weapon had slightly inferior penetration compared to the M3 gun.
Not sure why the m3 gun is called "ap" in m4 and m4a1 sherman, m4a3 sherman with same gun has more penetration, possibly due to ammo types
Penetrator Matrix Veteran Member # 4309 posted December 27, 2001 08:27 PM 23.) Soviet bazooka available since late 1942. Soviet wolverine should have no APCR (95% sure). Soviet T-34/85 rarity 1? Comon guys... 19.000 built in 18 months, how rare is that? Multiple prime infantry weapons: Germany: SS rifle squad (#154) Rifle squad (#160) Also, has wrong type of rifle. VG SMG Squad (#161) Soviet: Ski squads (#164 & #214) USA: Arm mortar squad (#114) Arm MG squad (#171) USMC: Squads (#132, #134, #145, #154, #155, #173, #174 (3!)) UK: Squads (#169, #170, #184, #185, #187, #199, #204) Italy: Squads (#45, #46, #123, #139 (3!), #140, #185) There are probably many more. France is clean by the way. And yes, it is a problem, I tested it. Just make "secondary infantry" versions of the weapons and have it done with. The Finnish OOB is a beacon in this respect. "A possible solution to this involves a bit of simple hacking of the OOB's. Duplicate the offending weapon(s) and set the duplicate's class to '02- Secondary Infantry'. Then ensure that the units that have these extra weapons in slots 2-4 have the class 02 weapons in there. I think you'll find this fixes the problem." [ December 27, 2001: Message edited by: Alby ]
