Kung Karl -> Boardgame: Von Manstein's Backhand Blow (7/1/2004 1:55:08 AM)

Anyone know anything about this game? I'm thinking of buying it. I'm a complete newbie to advanced boardgaming. I only own Axis & Allies: Europe and Diplomacy. Is this game fun? Easy to play for newcomers? Any comments would be appriciated.

Seeing as everyone loves links, here is the link to this game.

I have not played this one, but I have learned over the years, board games tend to be less "buggy" than computer games hehe.

Still, it has eratta like most board games :)

If your only knowledge of board gaming has been an Axis and Allies title and Diplomacy though, the only comment that I think might be relevant is this.

It comes with a 12 page Standard Rule book, and a 20 page Exclusive Rulebook.

Doesn't sound to daunting.

The counter and map art appears to be clean and clear. I can't see any negatives from the outside looking in at least.
