Zeta16 run the fix it utilities every week I told you about and get yourself a good antivirus firewall software. eTrust™ EZ Armor 2005 this stuff has eliminated all my computor problems. ( so far )

I installed new memory (even talked to company i bought computer from and bought from them) and since then my computer goes off and comes back on at any time. So I might have to send it back to get a hardware problem fixed.

take a look at the cpu chip if your fan is failing on the chip it will overheat and shutdown on you, also if the chip is going bad it will fail also... make sure the fan on the chip is running... or a power supply going bad or the motherboard is grounding out on the screws that attach it to the tower.... or loose wiring, loose board etc... is this the same problem you have been having all along????

when you say you installed new memory do you mean added more to existing mem? If so then there may be conflict if 2 sticks aren`t identical or if you motherboard requires them to be placed in certain order. Running a program called memtest should help determine if mem is faulty, though from experience memory usually works or it doesn`t - rarely in between. (if not working com wouldn`t boot)

I took out the old memory and installed the new sticks. Even when I went back to the old memory the problem keep happing. So I am sending my computer to gateway because it is still cover and they will fix the problem. So to every one I play I do not know when I will get it back. What sucks even more is I got WiTP and have not even been able to play it. I will stop into the library time to time to chaeck the forum and to check my fantasy teams.

UPS the computer on Friday. They said it would arrive on On 7/8. SO I hope they fix it by the end of next week. So maybe I will have it back by the end of the month.

Well I called them on tuesday and yesterday and it still was not fixed. The lady said something about a sound card and something else. So I hope it is done soon. Does anyone still want to play? I hope to be playing WiTP by the end of the month. I get to the library about once a week until the computer is fixed.

Well to everyone I play, I got a new computer on Sunday. My other one is still at gateway and they have been giving me the run around. I have gotten 10 different answers since the 15th. let's just say I have a problem with them. So E-mail if you want to continue any UV games or start a WitP in a month or so. I should have everything reinstalled (Uv and WitP) soon.
