Big T -> Wierd Flag appearing during game (12/27/2001 3:22:00 AM)

Don't know if this matters, but i'm playing the Long Road campaign, and every once in a while I see a blue Flag with "obj" on it, pop up on the map. I have C&C turned off, I thought that objectives were only a factor when a player was using C&C. Can anyone shed any light on this?

It's simply the objective set for the troops, C&C on or off doesn't matter. Don't worry about it. [ December 26, 2001: Message edited by: Warrior ]

You are correct that the blue flag is an objective flag for use with C&C on. However, sometimes it just pops up. You can get it to show with C&C off by hitting the ; key too. It shows but has no effect with C&C off.

Actually, it's something built into the campaign that punishes you for playing with C&C off!
hehehe
just foolin'

Ahh, ok thought so, but just wanted to make sure...otherwise I'd have an excuse to make up a reason why I was doing so poorly. Thanks guys!

Its a colorblind Tbalm fighter waving a part of his wifes dress, surrendering.

If you were wondering why it seemed to pop up sporadically: it appears when you select a unit whose objective it designates.

I have noticed the same thing too.
At first I thought I got bonus points or something for it!!
